  Eve Sylvie Very true! But this video leaves out the point of view of the responsible party - the parent. I'd be interested to hear what the parent who takes the picture or video to post on Facebook is thinking when they put their dog in an uncomfortable situation and their child at risk.

  Laurel Davis what is the dog thinking when it does a home invasion to kill the neighbor's pets in their own home? what about when it kills the woman gardening in her own yard? It is UN-provoked attacks that make for a dangerous dog.

  Julia LewisIt makes a very good point, that video. It's terrible when dogs have to put up with all that from children. It's fine for a bit then they can't get the children to stop and the children don't read the signals and as a last resort they bite. But, this is irrelevant when we are talking about pit bulls! That's the difference. Ordinary dogs will bite the child and then let go and sadly they will pay for it with their lives. That's bad, because it's the parents' fault for not protecting the dog from their children. In the same circumstances, pits will kill or badly maul. That is what this video does not say. Maddening in that respect.
